Lake Ella

North Monroe St. between Tharpe and 7th. Map

Lake Ella is a facility run by Tallahassee Parks and Recreation and the Storm Water Management Department. With the cooperation of Tallahassee Parks and Recreation, TAS has been meeting here and conducting sidewalk astronomy sessions for over a decade. In the spring and autumn thousands of people have strolled around the lake in the evening and stopped by our scopes to ask questions and gaze at the night sky. We hold somewhat regular sessions there but check our calendar of events to see when the next session is scheduled.

From I-10 head down N. Monroe. Just past Tharpe street on your left is the lake. You can't miss it. Map
